The Service includes artificial intelligence tools and functionality that we may make available to you in connection with your use of the Service and that you specifically opt into using ("AI Tools"). This Privacy Policy also describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing any information we collected from you as described herein.
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on the Site, in email, text, or other electronic messages between you and the Site, and through your access to or use of the Service. Privacy of Children
The Site and the Service are not intended for or directed to children. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on the Site or the Service. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under age 18. User Responsibility & Liability Disclaimer
Although we take reasonable measures to prevent access by individuals under 18, including implementing an age-gating mechanism during account registration, we cannot guarantee that all users will comply with age restrictions. If a minor falsely represents their age and accesses the Site or the Service, we are not liable for their activities on the platform, provided that we have taken reasonable steps to prevent such access. Upon discovery of a minor using the Site or Service, we will take appropriate action, including account termination and data deletion.

Preventative Measures & Enforcement
Users must confirm that they are 18 years or older as part of the account registration process. If a User enters a birthdate indicating they are under 18, they will be restricted from creating an account. If a minor is identified after registration, we will take steps to terminate their account and delete associated data.

Your User Contributions are posted and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although you may have the option to set certain permission settings through your account, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Site or the Service with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

AI-based Recommendations and Matching
Our Service automatically uses your Personal Information and User Data to recommend relevant groups, events, or other personalized content to you. At this time, users do not have the option to opt out of these internal recommendations or data-driven matching features. "User Data" includes any data or information relating to you that you voluntarily provide to us or that we collect automatically through your use of our AI Tools or that you otherwise authorize us to collect or generate.
Our AI Tools and Service connect users based on shared or complementary interests, preferences, needs, values, and beliefs. While the AI Tools apply predefined criteria to generate matches, some degree of algorithmic bias may exist based on user-provided data. To promote transparency, we will provide a brief explanation of why a match was made. You will have full control and may decline any suggested match. We do not actively monitor user interactions, but if your experience or witness harmful or discriminatory behavior, you are encouraged to report concerns by contacting us at legal@everuscares.com. Reports will be reviewed promptly, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with our policies.
6. Security
Everus takes protecting your information seriously, and implements reasonable measures to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
However, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to the Service or certain parts of the Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public and semi-public areas of the Site like message or comment boards, when posting User Contributions, and when using the User Messaging functions. The information you share in public or semi-public areas may be viewed by other users of the Service. Please use caution in determining what Personal Information to disclose.

Emails
Everus may send Service updates, Service notifications, promotional information and other communications to you via email. Promotional email communications will contain instructions describing how you can opt out of receiving future promotional emails from us. You may also email us at legal@everuscares.com to be removed from our mailing list. If you opt out of promotional emails, you may continue to receive non-promotional, transactional emails from us.
Limiting Provided Information
You can choose not to provide us with certain information. If you decline to provide certain information, however, please note that some features of the Site and/or Service may then be inaccessible.
Your Information Sharing Preferences
You will have the ability to set your preferences regarding what Personal Information or content is visible to or shared with other users on our platform.
